Eat

Enjoy cooking in the fully stocked cottage kitchen including oven, microwave, cook top, air fryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Kitchen utensils, trays and serving ware is all available for guests. Cook inside, on the veranda BBQ or over the open flames of the fire pit.

In the pantry you will find:

• Oils and cooking spray
• Basic herbs and spices
• Salt & Pepper
• Rubbish bags
• Dishwashing tablets/dishwashing liquid
• Cling wrap/Aluminium Foil

Sleep

Rest and restore in either:

• 2 x Queen Rooms
• 1 x Sleep-out with single bed and single trundle (trundle can be set up at regular height if required)

Enjoy luxurious linen bedding and quilts.

Both Queen rooms are generous in size and allow space for portable cots in the same room. Guests in the main room can enjoy a walk in wardrobe with ample hanging space. The second queen room features a wardrobe for unpacking and making yourself at home. All rooms throughout the cottage have reverse cycle air conditioning.

Explore

Sit by the firepit, interact with the chickens and goats or say hello to neighbouring cattle around the property. The farm is yours to enjoy in whatever capacity you wish. Children have space to play and explore in a fully fenced area including herb garden.

Children are not just welcomed but encouraged at Summerholm House. We understand the difficulty in finding luxurious accommodation that welcomes children so please, bring the family and enjoy your time on the farm. Lawn games, toys, books and DVD’s are available. Kid friendly dinnerware/high chairs/stools are on site.

With three permanent dining areas, as well as several paddocks to choose from, you have plenty of space to set up for something a little more special during your stay. Dine under the olive tree, or venture further afield to watch neighbouring cattle roam the adjacent hills while you dine. A picnic basket and rug are waiting for you.

Linens, table decor, candles, serving ware and glassware are available for guests to use and enjoy in creating a memorable meal. Whether you’re taking your time on a girls weekend away, celebrating a special occasion, or simply wanting to enjoy the beauty of a slow Sunday lunch, we welcome you to take a seat and spend some time with those you love most.
